I'm actually experiencing the same problems as well. I had thought it had happened when I installed a program called K9 web protection, but then I remembered that I had updated my FF the same day. After uninstalling K9, it seems apparent it was the update. I'm running WinXP pro SP2, FF 3.0.9 and have had the problem with both FB 1.3.3 and 1.4x.0a19. I only read this post after updating to the beta 1.4, but opening a new window totally makes it work. In the first window it is unresponsive. The grey bug icon, F12, anything FB- related in the tools menu all do nothing. The only two other add-ons I'm using are McAfee site advisor 2.9 (which is disabled) and the Skype extension for FireFox 2.2.0.102 (also disabled). For the time-being I'll happily just open a second window, but a solution eventually would be good. I'm happy to provide more info if it will help out. Thanks for a great tool, I have been lost for the past week without it! Chris
