Sometimes I use Firebug to investigate how people have done certain
things as it's much quicker than trying to figure what methods and
properties are required. However these scripts normally use compressed
javascript to everything is on one line meaning it's very difficult to
step through the code and see what is going on. Pasting the code into
a javascript prettifier is perfect, but obviously you can't step
through it with Firebug then.

Any chance of Firebug being able to optionally "prettify" Javascript
just as it does with html? That would really be the icing on the cake.
