First, couldn't imaging what I'd do with out firebug, makes my life so much easier. I'm sure you'd hear the same from any web developer out there.
I hope this post gets to the person who is in charge of it. the current version i have 1.4.0b3 somehow is messing up a feature I used a lot... which was the inspect tool, what is now a flashlight. the part I'm talking about is the "glasses icon" that you could add to you toolbar by 'Firefox customize'. and i'm not sure if this is out of the hands of firebug or not... but I use to be able to click that and out would pop the console and the ability to hover over the elements of the page (one click) now i have to open the console, click the inspect icon and then select the element. or at best the console has to be open in order for it to work (3 clicks). just wondering why or if it can be changed back?
