I gave the version number of FF and FB to set the context. My question
was more about the behavior of export tab wherein it re-reaches to the
URL when i click on the 'export', rather than just saving the data
collected so far..

Of course, when i installed FB 1.4b3 and the export tab, FB does not
even launch tough the working group on export format says it should
work with 1.4a26 and higher at:
http://groups.google.com/group/firebug-working-group/web/http-tracing---export-format
says. So, I brought down the FB version to 1.4a26

We could follow up on both issues
