- Enabling / Disabling - The only issue I have with this is you need
to click on a tab to see the dropdown menu icon, and then you have to
click again to see the actual dropdown menu. The hidden dropdown arrow
also shifts the tabs when it toggles. Both of these things could be
improved.
- I personally don't care for the Flashlight or Pause icons. It looks
like Firebug is going the way of Opera's awful Dragonfly, with
confusing icons. It doubles the amount of mental effot a user has to
do: First we only had to know what "inspect" meant. Now we have to
know what inspect does, AND we have to remember that Flashlight =
insepct. Plus why is breakpoint there even when Script is disabled?
Does it really need a global icon? It seems ironic that you took the
text these buttons but added it to the close button, which is made
even more confusing since the other two red buttons don't have text.
- Why do you see a different context menu when you right click on the
Firebug icon when it is closed? How do you reach that context menu
when it's open? It is a menu no one will ever find. I only found out
about it from reading threads.
- X versus minimize - maybe it's just from my use of the older
versions, but it really doesn't feel like a disable button should be
here. I still click it out of habit all the time, and it's
frustrating. Maybe I will get used to it.
