As far as I know, Firebug has always erased all information on reload. There is almost no code in Firebug about reload because for the most part reload is an illusion created by Firefox. Under the covers reload is pretty much the same so "close" followed by "open <url>". That is why Firebug has no info from before the reload: there is none.
