Firefox 3.0.11, Firebug 1.4.0. On my localhost machine I have one page which makes five Ajax calls on loading. Without Firebug running there is no significant delay. If it is running I cannot do anything with the page for about 20 seconds. It's as though the code has finished but Firebug is having to do some serious cleaning up in the background. I used to have Firebug turned off for this page, but it seems with 1.4 it is now more difficult to have Firebug turned off for a specific page within localhost.
Firebug is a brilliant piece of software. I don't know how I ever wrote any JavaScript before it came along. But some things I've never used (watch, breakpoints) because I've never found the instructions! Where are they? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
