In previous versions of Firebug, one was able to specify certain sites
that Firebug would be disabled for, while maintaining a list of those
it would be enabled for. Has Firebug 1.4+ completely removed this
functionality? To me it seems like its of critical importance to be
able to have Firebug running only on the sites that you want, whether
you do it via a whitelist, or blacklist, or mixture of both. This
allows a developer to look at things running on his localhost only, or
whatever, while keeping Firebug turned off for certain sites like
Google Mail which is practically unusable with Firebug turned on.

I'm not able to find any options that allow me to enable or disable
Firebug for certain sites any more and just wondering if this
functionality still exists, and if not why?

With tabbed browsing you don't want to have to be turning Firebug on
and off every time you switch tabs.

Thanks.
