As Hernan says, the tracing version has tracing. Thats the only
difference.

? The FAQ is public, that is how you read it correct?
I'm not sure what else you want to know about tracing that is not in
the FAQ.

The tracing version has the trace console and it has lines like this:
if (FBTrace.DBG_INITIALIZE)
FBTrace.sysout("firebug.initialize panelNode for
"+this.name+"\n");
