Which operation are you doing when you say "closing firebug window"? I
guess: you are hitting the operating systems close button (red [X] in
Windows). Yes, that closes the external detached firebug window, and
Firebug becomes minimized. If you want to turn firebug off for the
page instead, use the "off" button.
