Hi, This may or may not be helpful but I've found the latest firebug releases to be very buggy. When firebug is open the pages often become unresponsive and I need to close to continue work. I've found it competes with visual studio somehow - Visual studio has problems building and doing much of anything if firebug is open. All global javascript functions used to be visible in the DOM tab but they are not when the page first loads anymore. I need to disable all panels and then re-open the DOM tab for them to appear.
I still love firebug!
