I tested bug 2271's test case, and it worked the same for me as for the reporter. In other words, I do get the js error in Firebug in FF 3.0 with Firebug 1.3.3, while I do not get the error with FF 3.5.2 and Firebug 1.5.0a23. But, I don't think this bug is related to mine, because I can see non AJAX js errors not showing up. In addition, all of my errors are showing up in Firefox's console, just not Firebug's. If you have any other ideas for me to create a test case, I am open to them, but I was not able to create a simple test to reproduce this issue as of yet.
