FF 3.5.3
Firebug: have tried every release I can find for FF 3.5, currently
1.4.0b4.
I have seen this referenced in other places, with claims that it has
been fixed, but not the case for me. The use case is simple: I try to
disable or edit a single style within a style block and the entire
style vanishes. For example:
#tooltip {
background:transparent url(/images/tooltip.png) no-repeat scroll 0 0;
display:block;
height:55px;
margin-bottom:6px;
overflow:hidden;
width:264px;
}
If I disable the display:block line, or any other, the entire #tooltip
declaration is gone. I have seen comments that this may be due to
large stylesheet, but this one is 10k. I have also removed my
stylesheets and added styles back one at a time, validated my
stylesheets, and tried just about any other trick I could think of.
Sometimes, I will be able to disable a line, as above, but then the
next one I try to disable causes the same problem.
I am probably going to roll back to FF3 for now, since Firebug is
essential to my development, but if anyone has steps I can take to
isolate the cause of this I am happy to try.
Thanks.
