Except for the numbers, it sounds like bugzilla bug 499568 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499568 There the symptoms were a minute or more of CPU every ten or fifteen minutes. The cause was a periodic Firefox service with a lot of error messages. The error messages were hidden by another bug which causes errors in services to be discarded. Firebug was seeing errors and processing so many caused CPU. Does this not happen with 1.5b4? That is, is this new since Wednesday? To investigate you can open the Firebug tracing console and run with ERRORS to see what might be happening. http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/FAQ#Using_the_Tracing_Version_of_Firebug For 1.5 there is only the tracing version so you don't need to reinstall. jjb -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
