Alright, I'll take your word for it. :~) > I don't believe that is your problem. As I already said I think the > problem is interference from another extension. Yeah, sorry. I meant to say that I am not using the htmlValidator add- on/extension you mentioned. > I was not with you at that time and did not see what you saw. Ah, we have a comedian in the house! You're here 'till Thursday, right? :~) > If you want the tracing version, then yes, it will be really needed. > See the FAQ:http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/FAQ I guess I didn't understand "the tracing version" - isn't that what debugging is all about? Tracing the code - JavaScript in this case - to get a detailed view of what's going on? I've never seen a debugger that doesn't do that, so to have a "tracing" version seemed a little odd. Like telling some you bought the "rolling" version of a bike. The link you point me to was where I saw the mention of the tracing version and now I see that some of those mentions were links. Sorry - I guess I was on drugs or something yesterday. Anyway, now I see the mention of an end-user version. That's odd, too. I would only think of developers using a tool like this, but I guess there's a reason for end-users to use it (perhaps just to provide feedback to the developers).
