firefox: 3.5.6 firebug: 1.4.5
Some time ago I started having a problem with the in browser firebug window, it pops up stuck in the right hand side of the firefox tab bar I can see the firebug window bar and the toolbar and a little bit of the next line down. The web page I am debugging becomes blank gray. I can use any firebug action which I can see, if I hit the red maximize button the the firebug window opens in a separate window and everything works or if I start firebug in a separate window it is ok. I've tried uninstalling firebug and reinstalling it. I also tried creating a new firefox profile, installing firebug and then it works no problem with that profile. But of course I don't want to lose all of my other setting just to fix this. So I know it is something in my profile but I have tried everything I can think of no luck.
