Hello, I'm using Firebug Lite 1.2 with Firefox 3.5.6 (MacOSX). I'm not sure if this is a problem or not, but when I go to inspect and I hover over elements in the browser, I don't get a border around the elements. It also doesn't seem to select the elements in the markup. Although, I can select elements in the markup and it does highlight them in the browser.
I'm wondering if this is a limitation with the browser. I've also tried it with Chrome and Safari. I was hoping to write another tool that had a similar behavior. I thought I would be able to do this with pure javascript rather than a firefox plugin. Does this behavior only work inside of a firefox plugin?
