I'm using Firebug 1.5b8 on Firefox 3.6b5 and have spotted the following bug. I've checked in the bug database and couldn't see anything that matched - but apologies if this is already known about.
If you right click and choose inspect element then the firebug pane does not appear. Hitting F12 will show the firebug pane, but the selected element will not be highlighted.Choosing "Inspect Element" from the context menu when the firebug pane is already displayed causes the selected element to be highlighted as expected.
