I don't test on Ubuntu at all. In the past I did test on Ubuntu, but I never found any issues that differ from WinXP, so I stopped. In this case, the out come would not be different, since the crash only occurs on 64 bit. > > > If you want to ask questions, ask Unbuntu why they ship an > > unsupported version of Firefox. > > Please explain on what you mean by 'unsupported'. Specifically I mean that Firefox would not hold up their release to incorporate a fix for 64 bit builds. You read the Firefox team leads comment yourself: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=510040#c7 > > They certainly support their Firefox builds, I see updates all the > time. I do not support Firebug on 64 bit linux Firefox builds. My own reasons include not owning a 64 bit machine. I certainly welcome input from Firebug users on 64 bit machines, including the information that Firebug 1.5 still crashes them. I wish our mornings had not been disrupted. I hope you have enough information about this issue now. jjb
