I need firebug 1.4 since 1.5 segfaults firefox in Ubuntu 64-bit (what I am using). The download link is no longer working. The link is http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.4/ but when clicked, it redirects to http://getfirebug.com/downloadsfirebug/1.4/ which is a 404. Changing that to http://getfirebug.com/downloads/firebug/1.4/ just goes back to the general downloads page, not one with the XPI files.
