I have written a blog post about the Net panel features the other day: http://www.softwareishard.com/blog/firebug/introduction-to-firebug-net-panel/ (it's related to 1.4 so a bit outdated, but mostly still relevant) Here is some more up to date info about the timing info in 1.5: DNS Lookup - DNS resolution time. The time required to resolve a host name. Connecting - Time required to create TCP connection. Blocking - Time spent in an internal browser queue waiting for a network connection (e.g. the maximum number of connection to the same server is set to 6 by default in Firefox). Sending - Time required to send HTTP request to the server. Waiting - Waiting for a response from the server. Receiving - Time required to read entire response body from the server. To better understand the blocking time you can also see: http://www.softwareishard.com/blog/firebug/page-load-analysis-using-firebug/ Example 2: Connection Limit Honza -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
