The HTML view you see in Firebug is the actual Firefox HTML, the live
rendered HTML.

It may be almost identical to your HTML file. It may be completely
different. The differences can be caused by your server, Firefox,
Javascript, or your edits.

So in general, line numbers are not useful, sorry.
