ive got 1.5.2 and have accidentally turned on the "break on all
errors" feature, and have no idea how to turn it off, have searched
google and this site, but no luck.
i do love firebug its a great tool, but can anyone help me, its
driving me nuts.
I suggest you use Firebug Icon Menu> Options> Reset all options.
perhaps the user interface for turning it off needs to be made a bit
more prominent?
If you set break on all errors, the Console panel will have a yellow
highlight and the pause button on the Console panel will 'throb'.
Isn't that enough?

A few people have had problems with Firebug 1.5.2. We've had no
problems. So I'd like to hear from others so we have some idea if the
problem is "a few", or "everyone".
If you have used 1.5.2 successfully, please speak up so we know where
to focus our energy.

its not intuitive, perhaps tooltips on hover?
I don't know what you are suggesting.
jjb
tool tips are little boxes that pop up when you hover over a button,
featuring text that explain what the button does
Sure, but I still don't know what you are suggesting. Tooltip for
what?

basically, put tooltips on all the buttons, so the user knows what they do. especially in this particular case so i can find the one that switches off break on all errors.

btw i also seem to be having the memory leak problem, that someone else mentioned since installing 1.5.2, memory use skyrocketed making firefox unusable, which probably combined with having the break on all errors on, made it even more difficult to turn off. i have reinstalled 1.5.1 and the problem went away.
