Hi all,

a few days ago, firebug started to show some strage behaviour:
When deactivated, my script is running perfectly fine. But when I open
firebug, the script starts using all available CPU-power until firefox
displays a message that the script might slow down my computer and
offers to kill it (Script: chrome://firebug/content/lib.js:3514).
After killing the firebug-script, my own script continues to run
normally (and is not killed).

The problem seems to be in the combination of greasemonkey and firebug
(both the most recent versions).
As soon as I deactivate either firebug or greasemonkey, everything is
running perfectly fine.
Creating a new profile did not help.

Has anyone any ideas, where this behaviour might come from?

Thank you
Andreas
