Hey, I'm stunned that Firebug no longer works in Firefox for me. There have been various updates since I have last used it (a few months) so I can't tell you where it blew up.
I am using Firefox version Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en- US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729). I had Firebug 1.5.3 and the Firebug icon in bottom left corner is not responsive. Under Tools > Firebug I cannot expand the menu (also unresponsive). I most of the other addons that I suspected might be conflicting in some way and no luck. I uninstalled 1.5.3 and installed 1.5.2 just to see and still, no luck.
