The problem is when to export collected data from monitored page. Currently it's done as soon as the page "finishes loading", which is if following is true: 1) DOMContentLoaded and onLoad have been fired. 2) There is no pending request 3) There hasn't been a new request executed in the last 1000 ms.
Of course some pages can do further XHR any time later (upon timer or user actions). On option could be to check if there were any additional requests (executed by the page) when the page is unloading (ie new page is loading). If yes, then reexport. A problems occurs when the last page is tested. It would be exported as usual, but never reexported since it doesn't have to be unloaded. But still it could be perhaps an improvement. Would this work for you? If yes, could you please report a bug for this? Honza On May 1, 12:55 am, nolanpro <[email protected]> wrote: > Thank you so much for you work on firebug and net export.
