As I wrote in my first post a fresh firefox install without
all other extensions didn't make any difference.
I would be very interested whether anyone can reproduce this behavior.
As I wrote previously I couldn't reproduce it myself on different
machines but on the other hand it persists on this one. Hence it could
be a windows issue. If I only knew where to search.
To reproduce it use
$firephp->log(urldecode("Gr%C3%83%C2%B6%C3%83%C5%B8e"), 'Test');
in a firephp enabled php script.
