Hi Wahha,

First, thanks for taking your time to post your question here. I've seen
a lot of people commenting about Firebug Lite bugs/features in several
places other than here, like twitter, stackoverflow, and in the Chrome
extension gallery.

People seem not to understand that we can't track feedback all over
the internet, and by posting here, you're making things easier to us,
and to other users who may also be searching for answers.

The problem is that currently Firebug Lite cannot download external
resources, like stylesheet and script files. This means that if the style
you're trying to edit is located in a stylesheet hosted in a different
domain/subdomain than your page, Firebug Lite won't be able to
download that stylesheet, and therefore, won't be able to "see" the
CSS rules located in that file.

We're looking for ways to solve this problem in the future, but currently
the only way to workaround this problem is to load your stylesheets
in the same domain.

Please note that while Firebug Lite contains some features of Firebug
for Firefox, it is very limited if you compare to what Firebug for Firefox
can offer. We implemented Firebug Lite as a way to help developers
test their web page/application on other browsers in a similar way
they are used to do in Firefox.

But if you want the most complete set of debugging features, I
strongly recommend using Firebug for Firefox.

regards,

Pedro Simonetti.
