According to the thread, the only test case that was submitted lead to
a fix:

That fix is in Firebug 1.5.1+, but it may require FF 3.6+.

If you are running Firebug 1.5.4 on FF 3.6 (the recommended combo),
and you still have a problem, then I suggest you try to reproduce the
problem in a new firefox profile, to rule out issues of other
extensions and options, see
http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/FAQ
Then if you still have a problem we need a test case to fix it.
