Thanks John, 1.6X.0a18 is running perfectly on Firefox 4.0 Beta 2. If I find any problems, I'll report them or submit a patch or something.
This is the XPI I installed: http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.6X/firebug-1.6X.0a18.xpi For some reason, I was hunting around in http://getfirebug.com/releases/ and didn't think to check inside the firebug folder. I just assumed that there was no "dev" branch available for the general public.
