I'm using Firebug 1.6b1 in Firefox 3.6.8. I've created a new profile and will report back if I still experience the problem. In the meantime, I'd like to report one annoyance: hitting TAB in the console (which I often do, if only out of habit, for auto-completion) switches focus to the URL field at the top of the browser (much as hitting cmd-L does). This is jarring, wrecks your URL if you type another character, and sometimes ends up navigating you off the page unexpectedly.
