Firebug Lite does not infringe your privacy.

In order to be able to activate Firebug Lite on certain sites, it will
use your browser local storage (#1) to store Firebug Lite current state.

Also, in order to restore Firebug Lite state when you navigate to
another page and/or select another tab in your browser, it needs
to read the "Tabs" component of Google Chrome extensions,
thus requiring #2.

We care a lot about user privacy and security. No user private
information is ever stored or transmitted. The warning you see
in Google Chrome is a default message you'll see when any
extension uses a special Chrome extension "component".
You'll see the same message installing several other Chrome
extensions.

regards,

Pedro Simonetti.
