Hi Les, Sorry for the late response, I have been busy, and I had no Google Chrome Frame and IE7 installed to test your problem right away.
See the report I created to track this problem: http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=3482 This is a problem with Google Chrome Frame, which seems to NOT support bookmarklets. Even a trivial bookmarklet with just a "alert" GCF is not able to run it, and it shows the same mysterious error message, as you can see by the following test case: http://fbug.googlecode.com/svn/lite/branches/firebug1.3/test/issues/3482-google-chrome-frame/bookmarklet.html So, I suggest contacting the GCF and inform them about this problem. regards, Pedro Simonetti. 2010/9/27 Les <[email protected]>: > I just discovered that when you right-click on a page that was > rendered using GCF, you will see two new items in the menu: Inspect > Element and About Chrome Frame... > > The Inspect Element feature is fairly powerful (e.g. console.log is > supported), so it reduces my need to use FB Lite. > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Firebug" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/firebug?hl=en. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
