Since I like the ideas, could you please report separate issues for
it? If I am not mistaken we don't have it (it looks like there are
only related issues).

This comment can be referenced, but I think the change deserves a
separate report.

To summarize:
- Command Pane - Menu Location
- Command Pane - New Button
- Pane Split - Independence
- Script Tab Variable Popups (the tooltip can include expandable tree
when appropriate)
