If I understand the hash algorithm can be different on different
servers, right? So, the user would have to be able to provide the
correct algorithm and Firebug would apply it on all resources on the
page. In case there are collisions, Firebug would log an error into
the console. Is this what you have in mind?

Could be a nice extension.
