Indeed, designing in CSS is a very tedious job and this feature would help a lot at least in memory dump.

Sure its possible, we do this for the command line already. I guess
the only difficulty it correctly placing the panel since the current
code relies on the structure of the command line UI too much.
(However I don't plan to work on this, I can't put more time on
completionfeature).
