It *would* be nice if this were a *little* more intuitive.  Jon
Odvarko's post is an excellent explanation of the current mechanism,
and the mechanism is elegant.  It's just not obvious, and if you've
just installed Firebug, you don't know that, and finding out requires
some digging.

For instance, I'm among the large number of folks who use GMail, that
*want* Firebug off for it, but may want it *on* for most other places.

It would be nice if a choice on the right-click menu for the Firefox
icon had a "Disable for this site" option, perhaps just below "On for
all web pages."    I run Firefox 4.0 Beta12pre, and Firebug 1.7 put an
icon at the right of the nav bar.  I think I'm not the only one that
would right-click the icon first looking for the required option when
confronted with GMail.

It would also be nice to know where Firebug stores the blacklist, and
be able to edit that.
