My problem is fairly straightforward. After using Firebug for a length of time (maybe 10 min) the HTML and CSS properties become uneditable. In other words, I can highlight elements on the page, but double- clicking or right clicking any CSS properties or HTML elements does nothing.
The only solution I know is to close Firefox down completely and restart it. I updated to Firebug 1.7X.0a11, but the issue still appears. i have a few other FF add-ons installed (i.e. Yslow) if that helps any.
