In a continuation of my previous thread, it appears that Firebug interferes with SOME but not ALL videos. When enabled, certain videos embedded on webpages seem to start, then stop, as the buffer widget appears. It looks like it's just a slow web connection at first, but sometimes the video NEVER plays, or halts continuously during play.
This behavior can be COMPLETELY ELIMINATED by disabling Firebug from the add-ons menu and restarting. It doesn't matter whether Firebug is active on the offending page or suspended.
