I have no idea. No one ever reported a problem like that, so I cannot assure
that the problem is really gone. It sounded like a virus, but the symptom is
gone now.

If you use you machine to access sensitive information such as internet
banking I suggest keeping up with a good antivirus, and possible schedule a
system format soon. If it was me I would do so.
