I have use a shared webhost that uses cPanel to manage the account.
cPanel makes fairly heavy use of Javascript and Firebug seems to be
making it choke; specifically, when you're trying to view lists of e-
mail accounts, ftp accounts, databases, etc.

I am using Firefox v4.0.1 and Firebug v1.7.2 and my webhost is using
cPanel v11.28.87. I have disabled all add-ons and tried listing setup
pages and it worked. When I enabled Firebug, it again stopped
working. I reverted back to FB v1.7.1 and it works in that version.

I realize this is a relatively isolated case and it might be difficult
to test, it never-the-less seems to be an issue with the most current
stable release. Also, it might be simply a symptom of an already
known deeper issue that will be resolved in a future release.
Admittedly, I don't know enough about how to suggest how to go about
fixing the problem, but if I can be of any further help, let me know!

Thanks!
