The best option is probably uploading on AMO (https://
addons.mozilla.org/). This way you can get a lot of potential users,
automatic updates, stats, etc. However your extension needs to pass a
review process, which can take some time.

You can also file a request-report in the Firebug issue list:
http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/list
asking to put your extension into the official Firebug extension list
here:
http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Firebug_Extensions
