The best option is probably uploading on AMO (https:// addons.mozilla.org/). This way you can get a lot of potential users, automatic updates, stats, etc. However your extension needs to pass a review process, which can take some time.
You can also file a request-report in the Firebug issue list: http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/list asking to put your extension into the official Firebug extension list here: http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Firebug_Extensions Honza On Jun 15, 3:06 am, Shashank Khanvilkar <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello > > Once I have developed a firebug extension, does it suffice to just zip it, > rename it to .xpi and put it on some web server to distribute this extension > to others? > Pointers to any existing docs highly appreciated. > > Thanks in advance, > Shank -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
