I used the Add-On Compat tool with the first versions of Aurora7.0a2 and Firebug still worked. Then the first time, about 5 days later, that there was a new Aurora7.0a2 version, Firebug stopped working. This leads me to believe it is not just the old maxVersion in the add- on manifest issue, something I tried to point out here:
