Changing pixel values was improved. You can now adjust them by 0.1 using Ctrl + Up/Down and by 10 using Shift + Up/Down. The icon moved to the toolbar as it is stated in http://groups.google.com/group/firebug/browse_thread/thread/eb4d8a8d1ccbb463. There is also described how to bring it back to the bottom. The font size problem is covered in http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=4489. There's already a patch for it, so we expect it to be in 1.8.1. You can adjust the font size via Firebug Menu > Text Size > Increase/ Decrease Text Size (as you already could in previous versions) or by pressing Ctrl + Alt + mouse wheel up/down.
Please read http://blog.getfirebug.com/2011/07/29/firebug-1-8-0/ (and related links) for more info on the 1.8 release and also have a look at http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page for general info about Firebug. I hope with that information given Firebug rocks for you again! ;-) Sebastian On Aug 1, 10:41 pm, "Robert W." <[email protected]> wrote: > What has happened since last update?
