Note, that we already released the final version of 1.8 and there is even already a 1.8.1b1 available at http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.8/. Though they are not working together with 8.0a1. Therefore we already have 1.9.0a1 at http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.9/. Also FF 8.0a1 tends to be unstable sometimes. If you experience that regularily, try to track it down to a simple test case and let us know. Then either we can fix it or the Mozilla guys.
