Hi Steven, could it be, that this is related to http://groups.google.com/group/firebug/browse_thread/thread/ccdd5d3e7d1ab6f4 ? Also there are several other threads mentioning similar effects. Did you already try installing Firebug on a new profile? Unfortunately we currently can't reproduce this, so we need a reproducible test case. Please also read http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/I_found_a_Firebug_Bug!, which helps creating a test case.
