If the error caused the script not being properly compiled, the Script
panel
doesn't list it in the location-list drop down and consequently the
error
link in the Console panel doesn't work.

Take a look at the Net panel to see how the response is really
formatted.
(Firebug doesn't change the scrip source formatting)
