This has been mentioned as a workaround: If you unclick Firefox in
Browser Integration in Robform Options, Firebug works and you can use
Roboform as a standalone utility, which is not ideal, but works.

Hello again, I posted a message in here a while back regarding Firefox
5 and Firebug 1.8.0; here was that message:
"I wanted to send a message regarding an issue I'm having with Firebug
1.8.0 + Firefox 5.0.
Opening the initial Firefox browser window everything works fine, but
if something opens in an additional new window beyond that (or if you
just go to File-> New Window) something happens and that new page
doesn't act right. The main annoying thing is that you can't click
"Back" on that browser window if you navigate to different pages; it's
like it's deactivated or something. The only browser window that
let's you click "Back" is the original one."

Fast forward to today. I've been keeping Firebug 1.7.3, Firefox 5.0
and Roboform 7.3.2 because that's the last time both Roboform and
Firebug are able to coexist as a peaceful duo within Firefox.
Unfortunately in the web business, it's important to keep your browser
up to date so you can analyze issues clients have. I now have Firefox
6.0 which renders Firebug 1.7.3 useless; it's incompatible. Same went
for Roboform. So I was forced to update to Roboform 7.4.2 and Firebug
1.8.1, hopeful that the issue above wouldn't still plague me. But
alas, it does.
I guess I'm to a point where I'm being forced to choose between the
two addon's I use the most, which kind of sucks (for lack of a better
word). If anyone has any other solutions to this I'd love to hear
them, but I seem to be running out of time.
