Hello, I too have this problem ( On a mac, Snow Leopard & Lion ), the only
extension installed is FireBug, in fact this happens to me all the time when
i first open Firebug and switch between panels, i have to quit Firefox,
reopen it and problem solved, until the next restart / power up of the mac.

Its quite annoying, but it's easy to solve. And as i told you, that problem
only happens to me on a mac, not on windows / ubuntu

Thanks guys!
