I tried this scenario and if right-clicking on the input#textfield
and executing "Copy XPath" I get: //*[@id="textField"]

Do you see the "Copy XPath" menu item?
Or the clipboard is empty?

Are you talking about search in the HTML panel or DOM panel?

It works in the HTML panel, but doesn't in DOM panel
